3 cups of coffee day

Pic from Coffee Alchemy. Today I'm drinking their Goodness Galileo. 3 of them.

It's a '3 cups of coffee' day today...
To explain:
1 cup of coffee a day required = a good day
2 coffees = a little challenging
and 3 = well... lets just say that I think my most creative moment today was thinking that school holidays should be called 'HELLidays'.

Not too much inspiration happening here today. Did you know that trying to teach an impatient 5 year old to knit while looking up Youtube (to try to remember how to cast on) with wool tangled around your fingers is stressful? Did I mention the baby screaming to be picked up and the toddler mashing food into the floor at the same time?

I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day...

In the meantime, here's some light relief over at Sew Liberated in the form of an old Singer sewing manual urging you not to sew with a sink full of dishes and to always apply lipstick before sewing, amongst other helpful suggestions. I also love Meg's tips for the updated manual - so true!

Now, off to the coffee machine while the electronic baby sitter (TV) does it's job...

  1. Start off slow with the knitting. Remember those knitting nancy's? Or even set up a weaving loom on an old cardboard box. And use thick wool! Good luck :)

  2. Thanks for the ideas Deb - I love the sound of the loom, must go off and research it. See how much I need your comments :-)

  3. The answer is tannin. Tannin is a natural vegetable dye present in bark and plants like grape skin. Coffee Trends
